We do not sell personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in countries where those providers operate
- When required by law: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request
5. Business Listing and Recommendation Information
Information submitted as part of a business listing — including business name, contact details, description, and category — will be published publicly on the ParishLocal directory. By submitting a listing application, you consent to this information being displayed on the relevant parish directory page.
Where a parishioner recommendation is used as part of a listing (as a “Community Recommended” note), the recommender will have been asked at the time of submission whether they consent to their first name and parish being displayed publicly. If the recommender selects the anonymous option, their recommendation may still be used to award a Community Recommended badge, but no identifying information will be displayed.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Specifically:
- Business listing information is retained for the duration of the listing and for a reasonable period after expiry in case of renewal
- Parish and business contact information is retained while the relationship is active and for up to seven years for financial record-keeping purposes
- Form submissions from parishioners are retained for the period required to process the recommendation
